Who we are

Veyuma is a curated marketplace for intentional travel. References to "Veyuma", "we", "us" or "our" in this policy refer to the platform and its operators.

What data we collect

  • Account data — name, email address, password (hashed), avatar when you create an account.
  • Booking requests — name, email, phone, travel preferences and messages you submit when requesting to book a journey.
  • Host applications — organisation name, contact details, licences and journey descriptions you submit via the host application form.
  • Usage data — pages visited, journeys saved, and authentication events, collected automatically.

How we use your data

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To forward your booking request to the relevant host operator.
  • To review and respond to host applications.
  • To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, password resets).
  • To improve the platform and detect abuse.
We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Supabase (EU-based infrastructure). Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data.

Third-party services

We use the following sub-processors: Supabase (database and authentication), Google OAuth (optional sign-in). We may add transactional email providers (e.g. Resend) — this policy will be updated when that occurs.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking request data is retained for 3 years for record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — authentication session cookies required for you to stay signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
